Circle Books – Later Primary Readers

A set of later primary readers in the Sheshatshiu and Mushuau dialects of Innu.

Adapted from the Circle ESL language arts program for northern children published by Fitzhenry & Whiteside © 1993

The Innu (print) versions were published by Mamu Tshishkutamashutau – Innu Education in collaboration with the Innu Language Project at Memorial University in 2015 and 2018.

They were revised, recorded and adapted as read-alongs in 2022-2023.

[IN DEVELOPMENT: Please note that we are still ironing out technical issues. We appreciate your understanding.]
