Innu has several types of pronouns:
- interrogative pronouns (for asking questions), for example auen, auenitshe, tshekuan or tanen
- indefinite pronouns, like auen and tshekuan
- pronouns of hesitation (used when trying to think of the name of something or someone), like aine
- presentative pronouns (used to present someone or something), like eshapan
- alternative pronouns (for talking about someone or something else), like kutak
- demonstrative pronouns (for showing someone or something), like neme and naume
- personal pronouns, like tshiń, niń, uiń
